From packing to collection

Getting the order to the customer matters as much as the product. The system manages the packing step, the label per carrier, the tracking number and the in-store collection option; the customer learns the shipment status by e-mail.

Packing and label

While the prepared order is packed, the contents are checked and the weight recorded. A label is prepared for the chosen carrier, the tracking number is entered in the order and a dispatch e-mail draft is created for the customer.

Label and tracking connection are assessed separately per carrier.

Delivery options

Home delivery, pickup point and in-store collection options are defined; the fee is set by weight, region or basket value. For in-store collection, an e-mail goes to the customer when the item is ready and the record closes on collection.

Shipping fees are entered according to the company's own tariff.

Swiss-specific points

In Switzerland, delivery times differ across mountain regions and cantons; cross-border orders raise customs questions. The system keeps region-based fees and delivery-time information; customs matters are handled separately with a specialist.
