Order and delivery journey

Damaged delivery: record, ownership and reply

When damage is noticed at delivery, the first hours matter: photo, signature note, related shipment and driver details must be collected. The system opens the complaint in one file, assigns an owner, prepares an interim reply to the customer and gathers documents for insurance.

Record and ownership

Damage is recorded with photos from the driver app or the office and linked to the shipment, driver, vehicle and proof of delivery. The complaint's status, owner and deadline are visible on one screen.

Transferring data from old records is assessed separately.

Reply and insurance

An interim reply to the customer is prepared from a template and the sending is recorded. For the insurance notice, photos, delivery document, correspondence and amount are collected in one file; outcome and payment status are entered in the same file.

Decisions on liability and compensation are made by the company and its insurer; the software only keeps records.

Swiss-specific points

In Switzerland, notification periods and liability rules vary by type of transport and contract. The system records dates and documents; interpretation of deadlines and the liability decision are made by the company's insurer or legal specialist, the software gives no legal advice.
