Order
From the web shop.
We build for how UK small and mid-sized firms really run: Companies House filings, bank holidays, VAT quarters and seasonal peaks. E-commerce warehouses handle many orders, each small and needing to leave quickly. The system turns web-shop orders into pick lists, manages packing and shipping label steps and books returns back into stock.
Orders from the web shop are received via CSV or an interface; stock is checked and a pick list is created. The picker sees the list by sequence and shelf location, and a missing item is flagged at once.
The web shop link depends on the interface the shop offers.
During packing the contents are checked, weight is recorded and a shipping label is prepared per carrier. Incoming returns are recorded with a reason code and the item is directed to stock, inspection or disposal.
Carrier label integration is assessed separately per carrier.
By e-mail we discuss your processes, roles, existing systems and how data is moved, and set the scope in writing.
We build the solution around your workflow and connect it to e-mail, calendar, documents and payment.
We test every flow with realistic cases, train your team and go live only when it is right.
UK e-commerce buyers order in the languages your customers speak and often across borders. The system prepares order and returns documents in the customer's language; prices can be held in GBP and EUR. Customs matters are handled separately with a specialist.
It depends on the shop's interface; you can start with CSV, the scope is assessed separately.
Yes; lists by product and period are prepared according to reason codes.
