From basket to doorstep: the journey of an order
An order starts in the basket, is confirmed by payment, prepared in the warehouse and reaches the customer by carrier. The system keeps these steps in one flow: stock is reserved, payment is matched, the parcel is prepared, the tracking number goes to the customer and every status change is logged.

Order intake and preparation
The customer confirms the basket and pays; once the payment matches the order is final and items are reserved from stock. A picking list appears on the warehouse screen, items are scanned while packing and wrong shipments are reduced.
Connections to payment providers and carriers are assessed separately according to the company’s contracts.
Shipping and notice
When the parcel is ready a shipping label is created, the tracking number is written on the order and an e-mail notice is prepared for the customer. After delivery the order is closed; for a parcel arriving incomplete or damaged the customer claim is linked to the same order.
Notice e-mails are sent with company approval and template.

Is an order final before the payment matches?
The rule is defined with the company; for example with payment by invoice an order can be final at once.
Can a partial shipment be made?
Yes; available items are shipped and the remaining lines are tracked on the open order.
