Fresh goods, dates and batches: three core records in food

In food retail some goods are weighed, some are packaged and every item has a best-before date. The system supports weighed sales, keeps batch and best-before date, lists items nearing their date and stores ingredient information on the product card.

  • QR-bill and CHF
  • Roles and audit log

Dates and batches

At goods receipt, batch number and best-before date are entered; at sale, the item with the nearer date goes first. Items nearing their date are listed, the decision for discounted sale or disposal is logged and booked out of stock.

Hygiene and food-safety processes are the responsibility of the company and its specialist.

Scale and product information

For weighed items, weight and unit price appear on the receipt; scale connection is assessed separately depending on the device. The product card holds ingredient and allergen information, optionally shown on labels or in the web shop.

The legal accuracy of label content is the company's responsibility.

How we work

  1. 1

    Clarify the need

By e-mail we discuss your processes, roles, existing systems and how data is moved, and set the scope in writing.

  2. 2

    Build and connect

We build the solution around your workflow and connect it to e-mail, calendar, documents and payment.

  3. 3

    Test and launch

We test every flow with realistic cases, train your team and go live only when it is right.

Swiss-specific points

In Switzerland local and regional products stand out and buyers expect origin, ingredient and allergen information. The system keeps this information in four languages; application of food labelling and hygiene rules is assessed by the company and its specialist, the software does not guarantee compliance.
