Utility cost statements: costs entered, allocated, PDF produced

In the annual utility statement, collecting invoices, meter readings and allocation keys separately takes time and invites errors. The system records costs, allocates them by key and produces a statement per tenant.

  • QR-bill and CHF
  • Roles and audit log

Statement flow

During the period costs are entered by item and building. At period end the allocation key is chosen; the system compares each unit’s share with advances paid.

Additional payments and credits are shown separately.

Review and dispatch

Management reviews the statement before sending; units with differences are flagged. The PDF goes to the tenant by e-mail and is attached to the unit record.

The accuracy of the figures remains the management’s responsibility.

Swiss-specific points

In Switzerland heating and ancillary costs usually run through advance payments and an annual statement. Calculation rules and allocation keys follow your contracts and your management practice; no legal assessment is given.
