When a machine fails: report, repair and plan

When a machine stops, the first minutes matter. The operator reports the fault on a tablet, maintenance is notified by e-mail, the downtime reason is recorded and planning immediately sees which jobs will be late.

  • QR-bill and CHF
  • Roles and audit log

Report and response

The operator selects the fault type at the machine and adds a photo if needed. An e-mail goes to the maintenance lead, the job is assigned and the status is visible; when the repair is done the machine is released again.

In emergencies the company’s own internal procedures apply.

Plan and analysis

Planning shows the jobs assigned to the stopped machine and suggests moving them to another machine. Downtime duration and reason are recorded; the most frequent reasons are ranked in the OEE dashboard.

Transfer suggestions are based on machine capabilities and the data entered.
