Core Web Vitals and Google rankings in the USA

What Google measures, the targets to aim for and how to check your own site.

What Google measures

Core Web Vitals measure how fast the main content appears (LCP), how quickly the page responds to a tap or click (INP) and how stable the layout stays while loading (CLS). Google uses them as a ranking signal, and on mobile, where most US searches happen, every extra second costs visitors.

  • LCP under 2.5 seconds
  • INP under 200 milliseconds
  • CLS under 0.1

Fast sites we build

We keep pages light with modern image formats, lazy loading, minimal scripts and a content delivery network, so visitors from New York to Los Angeles load pages quickly from a server near them.

How to check yours

Run your page through Google’s PageSpeed Insights or the Core Web Vitals report in Search Console, then fix the largest items first: oversized images, render-blocking scripts and slow hosting.
