Marketplaces bring orders, at a cost
Delivery marketplaces send customers, but commissions reduce your margin and the customer relationship belongs to the platform. An own channel keeps the margin and the customer details.
- Marketplace: reach and traffic, high commission
- Own website: lowest cost, found through Google
- Own app: loyalty and repeat orders for regulars
Start with a site that takes orders
A fast mobile site with menu, basket, Thawani Pay and card payment, and a clear delivery area covers most needs. Link to it from Google Maps, Instagram and WhatsApp.
Move regulars to your channel
Print a QR code on packaging, offer a small discount or free item for ordering direct, and send order updates by WhatsApp.
Add an app only when habits justify it
If a few hundred customers order monthly, loyalty points and push reminders in an app can raise repeat orders. Until then, a site that works well on a phone is the better investment.
