Piece
Own number.
Customers in Iraq commonly identify themselves with a national ID number, so forms and records leave room for it. In groupage, small shipments from many senders are combined on the same vehicle. The system tracks each pallet and parcel by its own barcode or number; at collection, the transfer hub and distribution it shows where each piece is.
Each shipment is recorded with item count, weight and size; a label is printed. At the transfer hub, pieces are scanned in and out, so missing or surplus pieces are noticed the same day.
The use of barcode readers and label printers is assessed separately.
Delivery rounds are built from distribution lines and sent to the driver app. Price is calculated by weight, size, pallet count and zone tariff and passes to the invoice line.
Tariffs are defined according to the company's own price list.
