Margin
Per line.
Teams in London, Manchester and Birmingham usually want this running before the next quarter, so the scope is built around how your people actually work. Even when turnover grows, margin can fall, and only the right figures show it. The system shows turnover and margin per customer, item, salesperson and currency, calculates receivables ageing and stock turnover and exports reports as PDF or Excel.
The main screen shows period turnover, gross margin, open orders and open receivables. It is broken down by customer, product group, salesperson and currency; the items earning most and least are listed.
Consistency of the figures with accounting results is checked together with the accountant.
Receivables ageing is shown per customer in 30, 60 and 90-day bands. Stock turnover is calculated per item and slow and non-moving stock is flagged; these figures become the basis for purchasing and collection decisions.
Target values and alert thresholds are defined together with the company.
By e-mail we discuss your processes, roles, existing systems and how data is moved, and set the scope in writing.
We build the solution around your workflow and connect it to e-mail, calendar, documents and payment.
We test every flow with realistic cases, train your team and go live only when it is right.
