From collection to bulk order, from size to delivery

In textile trade one style comes in dozens of sizes and colours, collections are ordered before the season and delivery is made in batches. The system holds the size-colour matrix on one item card, links collection orders to the season, splits bulk orders by size and follows delivery per batch.

Matrix and collection

When entering an order the customer writes sizes and colours as quantities on one matrix; a pre-pack (size-run) order is resolved in one click. Collection and season are linked to the item, and at season end remaining stock and shortfall are reported.

Manufacturer order format and supplier file layout are clarified in the project.

Delivery and returns

A collection order is split into parts by delivery date and the matrix is updated with each shipment. Returns and size exchanges from the customer are handled in the same order record, stock is updated for two variants and invoice or credit note is prepared.

Quality and product-safety checks are carried out by the company.

Swiss-specific points

In Switzerland textile trade often runs through brand distribution, corporate clothing and boutique supply, and customers expect multilingual information. The system keeps item name and description in four languages and supports CHF and EUR prices; assessment of import and labelling matters belongs to the company and its specialist.
