Batch
Number and label.
When a problem appears in a raw material batch, you need to quickly find which products and customers are affected. The system links the batch number from material to work order, product to shipment, and searches in both directions.
At goods receipt the raw material batch is recorded and the batch used is chosen on the work order. The finished product gets a batch number and is linked to the customer at shipment; a search in both directions returns results in seconds.
Sector-specific mandatory traceability rules are interpreted by the company.
The batch label is printed as a PDF and includes a barcode or QR code. For a problem batch the affected work orders, products and customers are listed in one report.
Recall processes and official notifications remain the company’s responsibility.
