Start from what the site must do
A brochure site, a booking site and an online shop are three different projects. Write down the pages, the actions a visitor should take and the systems the site must connect to, because that list sets the price more than any design choice.
- Brochure site: services, team, contact and a few landing pages
- Booking site: calendar, reminders and payments
- Online shop: catalogue, stock, delivery and BenefitPay checkout
Check whether VAT is in the number
Bahrain applies 10% VAT on most services. A quote that says BHD 900 and one that says BHD 900 plus VAT are not the same offer, so ask for the net amount, the VAT line and the total on separate lines.
Budget for both languages
Most customers expect Arabic and English. Layout in both directions, translated content and separate search titles are part of the build, not an extra, and they are cheaper to plan on day one than to add later.
Look at what happens after launch
Hosting, security updates, backups and small edits continue every month. Ask what is included, who answers when something breaks and whether you receive the source code, so the site stays yours.
