Brand and product structure
Products are organised by brand, range and category; different sizes and shades of the same product are held as variants. Batch number and best-before date are recorded and items nearing their date are listed.
The accuracy and legal compliance of product information are the company’s responsibility.
Card, sets and promotions
The loyalty card is scanned at the till and points and discount apply automatically. Promotions such as three-for-two, gift sets and free gifts are defined; how many units each promotion sold is reported, so stock and purchasing can be planned.
