In the UK Faster Payments is the first choice for mobile payment for many people, alongside credit and debit cards. If you only offer foreign payment methods you lose bookings. Companies and groups also often want to pay by invoice.
A direct booking is only truly beneficial if the guest can complete it smoothly. The right payment method reduces drop-offs and queries.
How payments run in the system
At booking the guest can pay a deposit or the full amount. For bookings by phone or e-mail you send a payment link. Every payment is matched to the booking and appears on the guest account.
Payments go through recognised payment providers. Card data is not stored in your hotel system. We discuss which providers and fees come into question before setup.
