What drives the price

A website’s price depends far less on the number of pages than on what it has to do: how much custom design it needs, whether it takes payments, how many systems it connects to and who builds it.

  • Build route: a template builder, a freelancer, a small studio or a larger agency
  • Design: a customised template or a fully custom design
  • Features: bookings, a shop with MobilePay and card payments, a customer login
  • Integrations: accounting such as e-conomic or Dinero, stock, CRM and newsletter tools
  • Content: who writes the copy, takes the photos and handles Danish and English versions

Typical price bands in Denmark

As a rough guide, excluding 25% moms: a simple brochure site often lands between 15,000 and 60,000 DKK, a custom online shop between 60,000 and 250,000 DKK, and a tailored platform or portal from about 150,000 DKK upwards. Agencies in Copenhagen and Aarhus usually sit at the upper end because of local hourly rates.

Costs people forget

Domain and hosting, a maintenance plan, payment fees, translation, photography and yearly updates. A .dk domain is cheap, but support and security patches are an ongoing cost, not a one-off.

How to get a price you can trust

Ask for a fixed quote in DKK that states what is included, who owns the code and how changes are priced. We reply within one working day with a fixed quote excluding moms, and we work remotely in CET.
