Size, colour and season: the trio of fashion retail

In fashion one item splits into dozens of stock lines by size and colour, collections change with the season and return rates are high. The system collects variants on one product card, keeps collection and season information, manages sale periods and makes returns and exchanges easier.

  • German, French, Italian, English
  • QR-bill and CHF
  • Roles and audit log

Variants and collection

For each item a size and colour matrix is visible; how many of which size are left can be read at a glance. Collection and season are linked to the item, and at season end the remaining stock is listed and prepared for the sale plan.

Label design and printer connection are assessed separately.

Returns, exchanges and sales

A size exchange is done in the same transaction and stock updates for two variants. A sale period is defined with start and end date, till and web shop show the same price; return reasons (size, fit, defect) are reported by size.

Size charts and product photos are provided by the company.

Swiss-specific points

In Switzerland clothing seasons are distinct, demand fluctuates in tourist regions and customers expect information in several languages. The system keeps size labels and product names in four languages; prices are shown in CHF, and the legal suitability of sale announcements is assessed by the company and its specialist.
