In USA families pay invoices with a QR code. The software turns the fee into an invoice from the pupil record, produces the QR code and helps match incoming payments to the right invoice.

Invoice flow
A fee plan (monthly, per term, yearly) is defined; on the invoice date the PDF and QR code are prepared and sent to the parent.
Rules such as sibling discounts can be defined.
Payment and reminders
Incoming payments are matched to invoices using the file from the bank. Open items trigger a stepped reminder e-mail.
The bank file format is clarified with your bank.
