Music school: lessons, rooms and instruments in one plan

A music school has many 30- or 45-minute individual lessons, different teachers and limited rooms. If plan, room and instrument are not linked, clashes and idle slots follow.

  • English and community languages
  • Pupil data and CCPA in mind
  • Roles and access log

Weekly plan

Each pupil gets a fixed weekly lesson slot; teacher and room are reserved automatically. If a teacher is ill, the affected lessons are listed and parents are informed.

Concert and exam days sit in a separate calendar.

Instruments and fees

Rental instruments are tracked: who has which instrument and since when. The term fee is turned into an invoice from the pupil record.

Sibling discounts and ensemble fees can be defined.
