Payments for Saudi hotels: Apple Pay, card and invoice

ZATCA e-invoicing sets the rhythm for Saudi finance teams, so invoice data is kept ready for it. Guests pay the way they are used to. Deposit, payment link and posting to the guest account all run in one system. Card, Apple Pay or invoice, depending on your payment provider: the hotel POS system in our hotel software for Saudi Arabia covers the payment routes guests expect.

  • English and the community languages your customers speak
  • SAR, VAT and local levies
  • Data protection under PDPL

The payment methods Saudi Arabia guests expect

In Saudi Arabia Apple Pay is the first choice for mobile payment for many people, alongside credit and debit cards. If you only offer foreign payment methods you lose bookings. Companies and groups also often want to pay by invoice.

A direct booking is only truly beneficial if the guest can complete it smoothly. The right payment method reduces drop-offs and queries.

How payments run in the system

At booking the guest can pay a deposit or the full amount. For bookings by phone or e-mail you send a payment link. Every payment is matched to the booking and appears on the guest account.

Payments go through recognised payment providers. Card data is not stored in your hotel system. We discuss which providers and fees come into question before setup.
