Mould
Cycles and maintenance.
Saudi customers often verify identity through Nafath and share a National Address, and forms leave room for both. In plastics and packaging, series production is fast; a small setting error quickly means a lot of scrap. The system links mould, machine and batch and shows scrap rate and downtime straight away.
For each mould, cycle count, maintenance interval and the machine used are recorded. A warning is given when a mould nears its maintenance count; setting values are stored per product.
Automatic reading of cycle data from the machine depends on the machine.
The granulate or film batch is linked to the work order, so if a problem arises it can be found which raw material was used. Scrap reasons are recorded and compared by shift and product.
Additional requirements for food-contact packaging are clarified with a specialist.
