Which customer and which item earns money, built for Qatar
In Qatar, quotes and invoices are in riyals, with any applicable taxes shown separately, so the setup is planned that way from day one. Even when turnover grows, margin can fall, and only the right figures show it. The system shows turnover and margin per customer, item, salesperson and currency, calculates receivables ageing and stock turnover and exports reports as PDF or Excel.

Turnover and margin
The main screen shows period turnover, gross margin, open orders and open receivables. It is broken down by customer, product group, salesperson and currency; the items earning most and least are listed.
Consistency of the figures with accounting results is checked together with the accountant.
Receivables and stock
Receivables ageing is shown per customer in 30, 60 and 90-day bands. Stock turnover is calculated per item and slow and non-moving stock is flagged; these figures become the basis for purchasing and collection decisions.
Target values and alert thresholds are defined together with the company.

In Qatar reports are requested in QAR and management gives figures to the accountant at period end. The system provides and exports reports in QAR and foreign currency; assessment of statutory reporting requirements belongs to the company and its specialist.
