Batch
Number and label.
Companies at the Qatar Financial Centre or in free zones often need bilingual, audit-friendly records, and this setup keeps them. When a problem appears in a raw material batch, you need to quickly find which products and customers are affected. The system links the batch number from material to work order, product to shipment, and searches in both directions.
At goods receipt the raw material batch is recorded and the batch used is chosen on the work order. The finished product gets a batch number and is linked to the customer at shipment; a search in both directions returns results in seconds.
Sector-specific mandatory traceability rules are interpreted by the company.
The batch label is printed as a PDF and includes a barcode or QR code. For a problem batch the affected work orders, products and customers are listed in one report.
Recall processes and official notifications remain the company’s responsibility.

In Qatar customers in sectors such as medical devices, food and precision mechanics often ask for batch records. The system keeps the records; which regulation applies is determined by the company and its advisor.
Yes; for individual products serial number and batch are kept together.
