What drives the price
A website’s price depends far less on the number of pages than on what it has to do: how much custom design it needs, whether it takes payments, how many systems it connects to and who builds it.
- Build route: a template builder, a freelancer, a small studio or a larger agency
- Design: a customised template or a fully custom design
- Features: bookings, a shop with Payconiq and card payments, a customer login
- Integrations: accounting such as e-conomic or Dinero, stock, CRM and newsletter tools
- Content: who writes the copy, takes the photos and handles Luxembourg and English versions
Typical price bands in Luxembourg
As a rough guide, excluding 25% TVA: a simple brochure site often lands between 15,000 and 60,000 EUR, a custom online shop between 60,000 and 250,000 EUR, and a tailored platform or portal from about 150,000 EUR upwards. Agencies in Luxembourg City and Esch-sur-Alzette usually sit at the upper end because of local hourly rates.
Costs people forget
Domain and hosting, a maintenance plan, payment fees, translation, photography and yearly updates. A .lu domain is cheap, but support and security patches are an ongoing cost, not a one-off.
