Traceability: from raw material batch to customer across Italy
Businesses in Turin, Bologna, Florence, Bari and Palermo get the same method: remote work, short milestones and one point of contact. Tracing
At goods receipt the raw material batch is recorded and the batch used is chosen on the work order. The finished product gets a batch number and is linked to the customer at shipment; a search in both directions returns results in seconds.
Sector-specific mandatory traceability rules are interpreted by the company.
Labels and report
The batch label is printed as a PDF and includes a barcode or QR code. For a problem batch the affected work orders, products and customers are listed in one report.
Recall processes and official notifications remain the company’s responsibility.
