Protecting driver and customer data

Logistics software holds personal data such as addresses, location traces, delivery signatures and working hours. The system limits access by role, encrypts the connection and manages retention and deletion of records in a controlled way.

  • Roles and audit log

Access and encryption

A user sees only the data their role requires; a driver sees only their own tour and a customer only their own shipments. The connection is encrypted with HTTPS and passwords are not stored as plain text.

Security settings are defined together during setup.

Location, deletion and log

Location data is used only during work and for the required purpose; the company sets the retention period. After that it is deleted or anonymised, and accesses are kept in the access log.

Spanish-specific points

Data protection rules in Spain vary by company. Server location and data processing terms are presented in writing at quote stage; a contract annex is prepared if needed and legal interpretation is left to counsel. Informing employees about driver location tracking is the company’s responsibility.

Frequently asked questions

Is data kept in Spain?
