Invoice
From shipment.
Invoices follow U.S. practice: GST/HST handled per province and county, net-30 terms if you need them, and payment by Interac e-Transfer, card or Interac e-Transfer. Writing the invoice for a delivered shipment by hand is slow and error-prone. The system gathers delivered shipments, prepares the CAD invoice with tariff and surcharges, adds the Stripe and tracks payment status.
Delivered shipments are grouped per customer or invoiced one by one. Fixed tariff, distance, weight and extra items such as waiting charges are added; a collective invoice can also be prepared.
The company defines tariffs and surcharge rules.
The invoice goes by e-mail as a PDF with the Stripe; as payments arrive the status is updated and a reminder e-mail is prepared for overdue invoices. A CSV export is available for accounting.
GST/HST rates and accounting settings are clarified with the accountant.
By e-mail we discuss your processes, roles, existing systems and how data is moved, and set the scope in writing.
We build the solution around your workflow and connect it to e-mail, calendar, documents and payment.
We test every flow with realistic cases, train your team and go live only when it is right.
In Canada the invoice is issued with the Stripe and in CAD, and goes to the customer in DE, FR, IT or EN. EUR invoices can also be prepared for foreign customers; GST/HST and accounting rules are clarified with the accountant.
Yes; shipments in a period are combined on one invoice per customer.
