In whatever language the customer shops

In Australia a customer may shop in English or your own community language. The software shows product names, web shop, receipt, invoice and customer e-mails in the customer's language; the staff interface can be used in the staff member's own language.

  • English and community languages
  • BPAY and AUD
  • Roles and audit log

Customer side

Product name and description are kept in separate fields per language and the language can be switched in the web shop. The customer record holds the preferred language; order confirmation, dispatch notice and invoice are prepared in it.

Additional languages are stated separately in the quote.

Staff side

Each user chooses their own interface language. At the till the receipt language can be selected separately for the customer, so the staff member's language and the customer's language work independently.

Languages such as Arabic and Kurdish are used separately in the Iraq version.

Australian-specific points

In Australia many community languages are used together and the customer language varies by state. The system separates languages per record; translations are entered by the company or prepared together, and translation accuracy is the company's responsibility.
